Stepz Dancing

Every Friday our class and 2 other classes have Stepz dancing lessons, we learn lots of different dances including The Tango, The Cha-Cha and line dancing. It is really awesome and great fun. The tutors name is Simon, he tutors us very well and slowly, so he makes sure we get it 100% perfect. We also learnt The Walking Cone, The Slide and Catch Move and Thread The Needle. They are pretty hard to learn. We have only had 4 sessions and I know the dances pretty well. We have our last session on the Friday coming. It was a huge success. A big thank you to Simon.

Islander Style Mufti

On Friday 20th November, the whole of the Franklin District had an Islander style mufti to support the schools in Samoa after the Tsunami disaster. We had to make a gold coin donation to our school to be able to wear mufti. All money is going to a good cause to help all the victims after the tragedy. It was a huge success. A big thanks to everyone who donated to Samoa.
